By creating a FinStudio account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use FinStudio.
What FinStudio is
FinStudio is a personal record-keeping tool for tracking the credit cards, bills, loans, leases, BNPL plans, and bank balances that you enter. FinStudio does not move money, does not send payments, does not connect to your bank, and is not a bank, lender, or financial advisor.
Not financial advice
Nothing in FinStudio is financial, legal, or tax advice. Numbers and reminders in the app come from what you enter, and any AI-generated insights are informational summaries only. You are responsible for the decisions you make based on what you see in FinStudio.
Your account
- You must provide accurate information when you sign up.
- You are responsible for keeping your password confidential.
- You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
- You need to be old enough to enter a binding contract where you live.
Acceptable use
Please don't:
- Use FinStudio to store data that isn't yours.
- Try to access other users' data or break the app's security.
- Upload images or content that is illegal, infringing, or harmful to others.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
- Use FinStudio to build a competing product.
Your content
The account information, notes, and images you add to FinStudio are yours. You grant FinStudio the limited permission it needs to store that content and show it back to you, and (in aggregated form only) to generate the AI insights described in the Privacy page.
Our software
The FinStudio app, brand, and underlying software are owned by us. These terms do not transfer any ownership of the software to you.
The service is provided "as is"
FinStudio is offered on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders and calculations are free of mistakes.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, FinStudio and the people who build it are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or missed payments, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to FinStudio is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) 50 USD.
Changes to the service
FinStudio is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, and we may change these terms. If we make material changes we will update this page and note the change date at the top.
Termination
You can stop using FinStudio at any time. See the Privacy page for how to request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that put the service or other users at risk.
